Last week the Town of Gananoque and Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands hosted a recognition event for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. OLG presented a check in the amount of $2,290,094 to be dvided evenly between the Town and Township. Gananoque Mayor John Beddows offered his appreciation to OLG.
Township Mayor Corinna Smith Gatcke was also on had for the presentation.
MP Michael Barrett was on hand to thank those involved and OLG for their involvement.
MPP Steve Clark made a stop at the ceremony and offered his thanks to OLG also.
Many representatives from community groups were on hand at the ceremony at Gananoque Town Hall Park, who received community grants through OLG. Those interested in applying for community grants, can contact their local municipality directly.
