After being an athlete the natural transition is to become a coach of the sport that you love so much.
This is exactly what Kingston Gymnastics Club Coach Britney Pollock decided to do.
After getting involved in the sport at a young age, she excelled in the sport and eventually turned her attention to passing the skills and knowledge to the future stars.
Just do it, is her mindset when asked what advice she has for any of the current gymnasts who might want to become a coach like her in the future.
She says one challenge she has faced is trying to help the students through a point of feeling down after not being able to accomplish a skill they are trying to perfect.
She says the one thing you can do is keep encouraging them to work at it and eventually the reward is a big smile from the gymnast, once they finally get it right.
