Summer may be winding down but the Leeds Grenville Lanark Health Unit is still checking and monitoring our local beaches for safe swimming.
In the latest report Dalhousie Lake, Lanark Beach, Merrickville Beach and Almonte Beach have tested high for unsafe levels of bacteria and are closed for swimming.
The Health Unit tests all 23 beaches in our listening area weekly.
