An early Wednesday morning rain transformed into a beautiful day for the annual Gord Brown Memorial Golf Tournament at Smuggler’s Glen Golf Course in Lansdowne. Special guests and NHL legends Al Iafrate, Larry Robinson and Todd Gill were on had for a special meet and greet. Iafrate talks about what it means to come to small town events such as this.
Gill, who was born in nearby Cardinal, says he all about supporting the community.
Six time Stanley Cup champion Robinson enjoys being able to support an event close to home.
Iafrate, Gill and Robinson took part in the tournament with all proceeds going to support the United Way and YMCA of Eastern Ontario. The event celebrates the legacy of late MP Gord Brown, who gave so much to our community.
