The Maple View Landings Redevelopment Project goal of $3 million dollars in fundraising, just got a little bit closer. Last Friday the project committee, received a donation of $100,000 from the Simpson Masonic Lodge 157. Fundraising Committee Chair Doug Struthers, says the committee is thrilled with the donation and adds that the Lodge continues to support the community.
Struthers, says the donation is critical as facilities like this are critical to have.
The Lodge will be recognized for this generous donation.
The long term care home is set to open in 2025 and will feature a total of 192 beds at the three story six wing facility. It is also the largest capital project in the history of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville at a cost of over $80,000,000.
