Three people from the Kingston area are facing multiple charges after a search warrant was executed at a Kingston Motel.
Police began an investigation after receiving information about individuals trafficking large quantities of fentanyl in the City.
There were also several overdoses being reported. On July 6th surveillance was conducted and arrests were made. Several drugs and drug related items were seized during a search warrant at the motel.
These fentanyl seizures are believed to contain Xylazine (commonly referred to as “Tranq” or the “zombie drug” on the street, which is typically a fentanyl additive which reduces the effects of naloxone), further testing is being requested to confirm the presence of Xylazine with Health Canada
Cocaine, fentanyl and around $12,000 in Canadian currency was seized in the search.
