Helping the community through many efforts is what the Gananoque Food Bank does whether it be monetary or food donations, they have been able to help feed families throughout the region.
Bob St. Onge has been with the Gananoque Food Bank for about three years and we recently talked to him at a local community event.
He says food donations are always welcome but he also says the cash donations are vital in purchasing perishable items such as meats for families.
St. Onge also spoke highly of myFM’s efforts through local food drives and the Gananoque Police Service, which helps with annual Cram-A Cruiser events as well.
The Food Bank, with help from a local business, recently gave back to the community, with a drawing for 10 $100 gift cards to be spent at other area businesses.
St. Onge had plenty more to talk about regarding the Food Bank and their efforts.
