The Thousand Islands Playhouse is headed back to high school thanks to a partnership with Gananoque Secondary School. This partnership will allow students at GSS, to earn a drama credit and learn many skills from carpentry to performing. Playhouse education and Engagement Manager Allison Hess talks about this program.

Based on this partnership, some of the students involved in the production will be completing summer employment and volunteer opportunities with TIP and others will pursue dual credit opportunities in acting next school year in a partnership with St. Lawrence College. GISS will also be adding a new SHSM in Arts and Culture come September, which has gained significant interest from students.
