From starting his career in the Ajax-Whitby area to eventually becoming the Executive Director at Community Living in Kingston, Peter Sproul has been around for a while and says he really enjoys coming to work everyday. Sproul says he wanted to become involved in a field where he could be proud of people and simply be a part of building a better community. He says working with people and seeing the outcomes along with working in more of a management role, has been an absolute perfect fit. Sproul says that the most difficult part and the biggest challenge recently, is keeping up with the demand for service and knows that there are people waiting for services, who sometimes don’t get that opportunity. He says it’s an ongoing challenge, which will hopefully not be a an issue much longer. He also says that staff at Community Living work tirelessly everyday to serve everyone they can.
