A new Back to the Track guideline has been proposed to the province for race tracks across Ontario to re-open. A 12 page document has been drafted with ideas from promoters at 30 facilities. Brighton Speedway promoter Mark Rinaldi says the plan is quite detailed.
Keeping tracks open is important to keep everyone interested.
Rinaldi says things have been quiet as far as getting answers as to what can and can’t be done.
Rinaldi says he anticipates that tracks will operate much like they did in 2020, with limited capacity and strict social distancing guidelines during all race nights. Social distancing, use of personal protective equipment and social activities are among several things out line in the proposed plan.
