A new flag football league is currently in its early stages and has grown to be popular in only a month. The newly formed Gananoque Flag Football League currently has over 70 players registered and is accepting more at the present time. League President Kelly Griffin says they are an officially registered non-profit business in Ontario and the goal is to become the Gananoque Organized Sports business which who feature many leagues in a number of different sports. The date for the first game in the newly formed league is set for May 2nd of 2021.
