Although it was a tough decision a local fair that is one of Canada’s longest running, will not run in 2020. Lansdowne Fair officials issued a statement on their website and Facebook page that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lansdowne Agriculture Society Board of Directors has officially cancelled what would have been the 156th edition of the Lansdowne Fair. The health and safety of the community is of the utmost importance and the board wants to thank all the loyal volunteers, sponsors, participants and attendees for their contributions in the past. The 2021 Lansdowne Fair is scheduled for July 15th through the 18th.
