Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MP Michael Barrett has issued a statement regarding the increase in military vehicles in the area.
Barrett assures residents these vehicles are returning to base following a cancelled military exercise.
The local Member of Parliament says it’s completely normal for residents to feel a heightened sense of worry as we deal with the effects of COVID-19. Barrett says that’s why we must do our best to combat misinformation during this time.
Barrett says be good to each other, use technology or the phone to keep in touch and we will get through the challenges of COVID-19 together.
