
McKenny Modler is a young lady who is influential to everyone in the area in her own way.
McKenna Modler had overcome a life moment that prompted her to want to help others who struggled with the same things she did.
Shortly after the passing of her grandmother at the age of 10, McKenna was diagnosed with cancer after a brain tumor was found.
Modler fought through treatments and had a positive outlook on life.
She helps raise money through her own organization McKenna’s Dream, which has raised over $140,000 to date.
The Gananoque native studies at Durham College and spends her summers helping at the Gananoque Marina on the docks.
Modler says she’s proud of the support for McKenna’s Dream and reminds others to live life to its fullest and never give up when times get tough.
