A dream that began in the summer of 2014 was finally unveiled to the public this past Saturday. The Thousand Islands Boathouse Museum Boathouse officially opened with a big crowd on hand. Museum Executive Director Susanne Richter says this is something the community can now enjoy.

Many local dignitaries were on hand including Town of Gananoque Mayor Ted Lojko and MPP for Leeds Grenville Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes Steve Clark. The boathouse will be open for the remainder of the summer.
