Reducing the amount of carbon footprint is not the first thing we often think about when buying that package of meat from the store. Students at Gananoque and District Secondary School have come together to do a "Meatless Day" on Friday June 15th to help reduce the collective carbon footprint. Grade 10 science teacher Faith Toelle explains how her class got the idea for meatless Friday.

Meatless day is also part of Farm to Table which is a social movement which promotes serving food locally at places such as restaurants and school cafeterias.
