6/7/2018 8:22:14 AM

Attendance has been an important part of everyone lives from school right through to your everyday job. Attendance in Committees and meetings in the Town of Gananoque has been a growing concern and has forced the Town to enforce a rule regarding missed council or committee meetings. Members will have their honorarium docked if more than 4 meetings are missed during the year. Mayor Erika Demchuk says this was a major issue in the past as well.

It was voted that one hundred and fifty dollars will be deducted from any member of council who misses more than four meetings.
