KINGSTON TEENS FACE CHARGES AFTER SOCIAL MEDIA FIGHT

A fight that started on social media, escalated into a fight involving weapons between two Kingston teenagers. Police say the female victim and one of the accused females started fighting on social media when the accused said she wanted to fight. Shortly after the accused male and female teenagers, along with a few of their friends, made there way to the victims street, sending her a picture of the street sign. When the victim went out front to confront the accused, both teens pulled weapons. The female pulled a knife while the male pulled what was later determined to be a pellet pistol. The male fired multiple times but missed, and the victim was able to wrestle away the knife, avoiding serious injuries. Police say the two victims later turned themselves over to police after fleeing the scene. The accused male was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, assault and breach of probation. The female was charged with assault with a weapon.
