TWO ARRESTED FOLLOWING DRUG BUST

A drug bust in Kingston has lead to the arrest of two people and the seizure of $25,000 dollars worth of drugs. Kingston Police with the assistance of Gananoque Police arrested a man and woman on Notchhill Road. When they were searched, officers say they found crystal meth, cocaine, hydromorphone pills, oxycocet pills and more than $1,700. A search warrant was obtained for the home where they found more meth, packaging materials, weigh scales, three bullet proof vests, and three cell phones. Nearly 954 grams of crystal meth was seized and 10 hydromorphone capsules. A 32 year-old Kingston man is charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and three counts of breach of probation. A 23 year-old Gananoque woman is charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with an undertaking.
