Three people have been arrested in relation to drug trafficking. Members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit began investigating a 32 year-old Kingston man in March. On Tuesday (May 16th), he and a 32 year-old woman traveled to Brockville together. They visited a 29 year-old man while there and obtained what's believed to be a package of cocaine. Later that afternoon the pair were stopped and during a search of their vehicle officers located the package. The pair were arrested and attended a bail hearing. A search warrant was obtained for a Queen Street home where officers say they found more cocaine, money and drug paraphernalia. A second search warrant was executed by members of Brockville Police and Kingston Police at the Brockville home. The 29 year-old man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. The Kingston couple were both charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The Brockville man was charged with trafficking cocaine. Estimated value of the drugs is over $100,000.
