Kingston Fire and Rescue crews were still on site Thursday morning after a blaze broke out at Pickers World Antique Market Wednesday night. Firefighters from six stations were called to the large fire on Princess Street just before 11:30 p.m. The fire was declared under control by 1 a.m. KFR says there were no injuries or hazardous materials involved. Some firefighters remained on scene overnight to monitor the scene and wait for the Ontario Fire Marshall's office. As a procaution during the fire, Princess Street was closed from Parkway to Taylor Kidd Blvd. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
