A team from Kingston will take on teams from across the globe in an international robotics competition later this month. The Kingston FIRST Robotics Competition team has earned a spot to compete in the 2017 FIRST World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. The team ranked among the top teams in the province at the Ontario Provincial Championships this past weekend. The FIRST World Championship brings together almost 30,000 students of all ages for the ultimate celebration of science and technology. The team, consisting of 21 students from seven Kingston schools, still needs to raise $6,700 to make the trip happen.
