Two Lansdowne women have been charged with impaired driving after their vehicle got stuck in a snowbank. Kingston Police were called to the area of Queen and Division Streets early Thursday morning regarding a vehicle stuck in the snow. When they arrived they saw the vehicle stuck and facing the wrong way. Officers spoke with the women, one 23 the other 26, standing with the vehicle and it was determined they were both intoxicated. Officers were unable to determine who had been driving but they were both arrested for public intoxication and taken to headquarters. The 23 year-old was three times the legal limit and the 26 year-old blew two times the legal limit. Both were charged with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol. The 26 year-old was additionally charged with drive while disqualified. Both were released on a promise to appear, licenses suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
